Synctrack Returns: New ShipStation API V2 Token Support

We are excited to announce that Synctrack Returns now officially supports the ShipStation Token API V2 Key. This update is a small but powerful improvement designed to modernize your shipping workflows and ensure your labels are generated with maximum reliability.

ShipStation’s V2 API is the modern standard for secure, high-performance shipping data. By adding support for this token-based system, Synctrack helps you:

• Simplify Your Connection: Authenticate your account more easily with a streamlined token system.
• Strengthen 3PL Partnerships: Improved compatibility with third-party logistics (3PL) providers who require V2 credentials for deeper integration.
• Enhance Reliability: Enjoy smoother, more stable return label generation, even during high-traffic peak seasons.

How to Connect Your ShipStation V2 Key

Updating your credentials takes just a few clicks. Follow this quick-start guide to get synced:

Step 1: Get Your Token from ShipStation

1. Log in to your ShipStation account and navigate to My Profile.

2. Open API Settings and select the V2 API version.

3. Click Generate API Key, then copy your new token and store it securely.

Step 2: Update Synctrack Settings

1. In your Synctrack Returns admin, ensure Ship with prepaid label is toggled ON under Settings → Shipping Methods.
2. Go to Settings → Logistics and select the ShipStation Integration.
3. Paste your new API V2 Token into the credentials field and hit Save.

Note: We still support API V1 (Sandbox/Legacy keys) for merchants who prefer that workflow, but we recommend V2 for the most stable experience.
